Strengthening Health Systems in Fragile and Shock Prone settings
ReBUILD for Resilience (R4R) is a Research Programme Consortium with the vision to help build health systems that are resilient to shocks and stressors (able to absorb, adapt and transform in the face of conflict and violence, epidemics, and health threats, natural disasters and population movements) and able to deliver responsive, effective, inclusive and gender-equitable services that are of quality and leave no one behind. The overall aim of this project is to understand and support building resilient health systems by strengthening the capacity of government at the national and sub-national levels in health sector governance, health financing and the use of evidence in planning and decision-making. R4R consortium includes partners from – Lebanon, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sierra Leone, including associate partners such as International Rescue Committee and Oxford Policy Management.
