Dr Baral awarded with Barbara Foundation COVID-19 Distinguished Award

Barbara Foundation felicitated HERD International Managing Director Dr Sushil Baral for his significant contribution to policy formulation to combat COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal. Dr Baral is one among those who were awarded by the Barbara Foundation on July 31, 2021 amidst a function in Kathmandu. The award ceremony was conducted by following safety protocols. The Award was provided under different categories to the front line health workers in recognition of their hard work and self-less contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic. “The frontline healthcare workers have played a tremendous role to save many lives during the COVID-19 pandemic in the country while risking their own lives. Hence, the main objective of this event is to appreciate the compassion they exhibited towards the COVID-19 infected patients during such testing times.” said Dr. Sanduk Ruit, chairperson of the Foundation.
