Mr. Sujan Sapkota is an experienced professional with specialization in Public Health Nutrition, showcasing a distinguished blend of academic knowledge and extensive practical experience spanning over a decade. His educational background includes MSc. in Food Science and Nutrition, Master’s in Rural Development, with supplemental courses in Research Methodology.

Mr. Sapkota has developed comprehensive understanding of health, nutrition, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) through his career, showcasing his specialized expertise in these areas with a rich background in national and international non-government organizations, he has consistently excelled in the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of emergency and development projects.

Mr. Sapkota has played pivotal roles in team and beneficiary training, as well as the leadership of comprehensive health surveys and studies. In his current capacity as Project Manager for MicroPoll and Darwin Initiative projects at HERD International, he has been engaged in leading teams, establishing partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, and mobilization of field teams.
