Mr. Sujan Poudel is a committed public health professional, possessing a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialization in Public Health Service Management. He had prior experience in conducting and implementing the studies particularly in health insurance, maternal and child health, health and ageing, infectious diseases and nutrition. During this master’s degree, he obtained Ageing Research fellowship Award from Ageing Nepal.
In his prior positions, Mr. Poudel worked as a Field Coordinator for the Suaahara II programme at Arghakhanchi District, he also oversaw nutrition-sensitive initiatives. He also worked as a Community Project Coordinator for HIV focused project for 2 years at Kaski District. His major skills include planning, conducting and implementing the studies, supervision and monitoring, data management and analysis, disseminations of research studies. He can collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse team and stakeholders from a variety of disciplines.
In his current capacity as Implementation Research Officer for Community-led Responsive and Effective Urban Health System (CHORUS) project at HERD International at Pokhara Metropolitan city. He works closely with municipal level decision makers, medical professionals, and with urban communities of Pokhara Metropolitan city for the implementation of CHORUS project.
