Ms. Samikshya Singh is an accomplished public health professional with over a decade of experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, and health information systems. She specializes in health system strengthening, data quality, and evidence-based decision-making, with significant contributions at national and sub-national levels.

Previously, Ms. Singh served as the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Information Systems Advisor for the FCDO’s Nepal Health Sector Support Programme (NHSSP), where she developed comprehensive M&E systems and provided technical assistance for the routine health information systems at the federal level. As a Health Information System Specialist for USAID’s Strengthening Systems for Better Health project, she led health system performance tracking, facilitated data visualization and quality assessments, advanced data-driven planning and budgeting, and implemented sub-national health information systems and M&E strategies. She also contributed to strengthening of M&E systems at the Health Insurance Board in Nepal.

Ms. Singh holds a Master’s in International Health from renowned institutions in the Netherlands and Denmark, awarded through the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, with a focus on health systems. A published researcher, her work spans maternal and child health, health data quality, and system improvements. Her research has been featured in leading journals, and she has presented her findings at national and international forums.

Ms. Singh’s leadership extends to fostering collaborations with governments, donors, and partners to strengthen health systems. Her strategic initiatives and expertise in digital health innovations have driven impactful changes, solidifying her role as a key contributor to Nepal’s health sector development.
