Ms. Abhigyna Bhattarai has over 14 years of experience in the research and development field. She had her Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Central Missouri and began her professional career in 2009. Since then she has been involved in designing and managing large-scale longitudinal and cross-sectional research projects in collaboration with multiple national and international donors. Prior to joining HERD International, she held key roles at the Center for Research on Environment Health & Population Activities (CREHPA), Nutrition Innovation Lab/ Johns Hopkins University, Helen Keller International, and Blitz Media Pvt. Ltd.
Ms. Bhattarai specializes in health, nutrition, gender-based violence, human trafficking, sexual and reproductive health, migration, and market research. Her expertise includes research design, data collection methodologies, developing tools, conducting pre-testing/field trials, and qualitative data analysis. Abhigyna has also served as the lead symposium coordinator for prestigious international events such as the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Nutrition’s Annual Scientific Symposium.
