Mr. Netra Kunwar is an accomplished professional with more than 14 years of experience in the development and private sector, including more than six years in a management capacity. He holds an M.Phil. in Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Studies, specializing in finance. Throughout his career, Mr. Kunwar has consistently demonstrated his leadership in overseeing operations at regional and national levels. His professional expertise also includes administration, finance, human resource management, budgeting, procurement, logistics, property management, compliance, and health and safety.
Prior to joining HERD International as Deputy Chief of Party for USAID Health Learning, Mr. Kunwar served as the Head of Operations at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Nepal. In this role, he managed all administrative tasks, including health and safety of colleagues. He also led the hiring of relevant personnel, procurement of goods and services in compliance with donor and government contracts, as well as managing the Information Technology department and data security.
