Breaking Barriers: Ensuring Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of Persons With Disabilities
In Nepal, access to health care including SRH services deteriorated during the COVID-19 lockdown. In Nepal, there are limited evidence on the availability and accessibility of SRH services by Persons with Disability. The issue itself is also negligibly discussed in the public domain. Therefore, HERD International and Karuna Foundation Nepal jointly organized a policy dialogue on “Breaking Barriers: Ensuring Sexual and Reproductive Rights of Persons with Disabilities” to discuss the issue among policy-making stakeholders. This proceeding report summarizes the key issues discussed during the discussion including the future strategic directions. This report serves as a resource for the wider community including those in research, policy, and academia and other stakeholders.
