Knowledge Café: Communication concept & practices

On January 29, 2021, Research Uptake and Communication team held the first knowledge café session for the year 2021. This session focused on the communication concept and practices. The Session was facilitated by Research Uptake Manager, Mr. Shreeman Sharma. This was needed as addressing the need of communication, is pretty much at the middle of everything we do. It adds or subtracts from our efforts to build solid relationships. It demonstrates or competence and confidence. Workplace communication is vital to an organization’s growth and success. Communication thus helps understand people better removing misunderstanding and creating clarity of thoughts and expression. The communication may be written or oral, formal, informal and upward, downward, horizontal, diagonal, interpersonal, intrapersonal, interdepartmental, intra-organizational.
