HERD INTERNATIONAL, a research and development agency is looking for an experienced and dynamic Maithili speaking Nepali applicant for the position of Qualitative Research Officer. S/he will be responsible for to lead the formative and evaluative research components for “Diabetes MELA study” and work with the JWDC in project implementation.
Contract type: four months over the 12-month project duration (months 1 and 2 and months 11 and 12)
Duty station: Kathmandu with a substantial amount of travel to municipalities around Janakpurdham.
Minimum Qualification and experience: Master’s degree in Public health/social sciences or communication related field with at least 2 years of experience or Bachelor degree in Public health/social sciences or communication related field with at least 3 years of experience in qualitative study
Languages: Excellent command of spoken and written Maithili, English and Nepali.
